Sunday Worship Times

The first church gathered together on the first day of the week to worship God. We view worship as the opportunity for all believers to offer a sacrifice of praise to God, the audience of one.

Our worship time is not a show. But since we serve a God who is perfect and excellent in all that he does, we believe that we are called to be excellent in all that we do. So, we try to perform excellent music and provide excellent messages that bring honor to God and that inspire the church toward excellence.

9:30 a.m. Contemporary Worship

Our 9:30 contemporary worship time takes place in the multipurpose room. Our songs are led by a high-powered worship band that leads us to look to Jesus and praise him. We also worship together in taking the Lord’s Supper (what many call communion), giving back to God in our offering time, and seeking God’s direction from a Bible-based message. Check out our MySpace Band page to listen to live recordings.

11:00 a.m. Traditional Worship

Our 11:00 traditional worship time takes place in the auditorium. The atmosphere and order of worship are more traditional in nature. Our hymns and praise songs are led by a song leader and a worship choir and are accompanied by the piano and organ. We also worship together in taking the Lord’s Supper, giving back to God in our offering time, and seeking God’s direction from a Bible-based message.

11:00 a.m. Contemporary Worship

The 11:00 contemporary worship time takes place in the multipurpose room and is almost a repeat of our 9:30 a.m. service, with the message given by another minister. Most teens and young adults worship at this time, after their Bible classes, but everyone is welcome.
