I always needed people, places, and things to have some form of happiness. I didn ?t believe in anything, and nobody believed in me. I led an utterly ignored and abandoned life. Then one day, I found something to believe in, and His name was Jesus. Now the three things I used to believe in, that is, people, places, and things, have been replaced with faith, mercy, and love, directed to God and people. I have found that what truly matters is Revelation 21:4-6. Have I not only found something to believe in, I have found Someone who believed in me.

Like Mephibosheth:
It's an interesting approach, more literary than apologetic. However, it doesn't give much insight into the "before and after" that we're encouraging folks to write into their stories. Spot on at 100 words! Kudos to the first person to put their story out there for public critique.

It happened on the end of a pier, less than 20 miles from Slidell. (I recently had a sort of homecoming!) I remember how it rained. The rain seemed thicker; a melancholy weeping with the expressed intent of filling space. We cried, and then we laughed because we were crying. We were like we were before the wars; we skipped and ran back and forth on that pier, arms outstretched like paper airplanes. We danced like snowflakes as all of Heaven rejoiced as another dropped and crippled soul, like Mephibosheth, was invited to return and sit at the King ?s table.
