Adult Bible Fellowship Groups (ABFs)

Adult Bible Fellowship groups are the “small churches” of our church. As our church continues to grow, ABFs help us keep in close fellowship with each other, learning together, sharing life together, and caring for each other. ABFs are usually groups of adults of similar ages or who are living in similar stages of life. Our ABFs meet Sunday mornings at the following times:

8:30 a.m. Groups

Sonrisers (Room 109)
This is an informal, discussion-oriented group using the Standard lesson series, which covers the entire Bible in a 6-year cycle and also covers a broad range of topics. Sonrisers is scheduled early to provide a Bible study opportunity for those who serve during the 9:30 and 11:00 hours.

9:30 a.m. Groups

Open Door (Room 101/Chapel)
Memorial’s longest-standing Bible school class. This traditional Bible school class for adults and includes a brief song time and a discussion of the Standard lesson material.

Lord’s Ladies (Room 103)
A Class of warm, friendly older women, who enjoy the study of the Bible through the Standard lesson series.

Harmony/Bereans/Seekers (Room 109)
An informal, discussion-oriented group for adults who are typically 50 and older. This group also follows the Standard lesson series.

Jesus Freaks (Room 107)
A place for twenty-somethings and college-age young adults to dig into God’s Word and fellowship.

11:00 a.m. Groups

Crossroads (Room 105)
An active, socially relaxed group of single adults and married couples in their 20s, 30s, and 40s (with and without kids) who discuss the Bible and ways to apply it to daily life.

Logos Family (Room 109)
A Bible-based, interactive learning environment for adults (typically couples with older and grown children) who are striving to enjoy ourselves while learning biblical concepts, spiritual discipline and spiritual maturing.

New Horizons (Room 117a&b/Fellowship Hall)
A group for couples with children, loving God and people through fun and interactive Bible study.

Bible Basics (Room 117c/Fellowship Hall)
Basic study of the Bible through verse by verse reading for adults of all ages and spiritual needs.
